All students:
Make sure that you have all the information you need for exam day.
Timetable
The May exams take place on 20, 21, 22 May. Have a look at the full exam timetable to see the exam days and times for each subject.
Entry for the May exams has now closed.
Question paper formats
Make sure you know the format of your May 2008 exam paper before exam day. This will help you manage your time effectively in the exam.
Admission advice letters
You must download your admission advice from mid April. You will need this admissions advice to sit your exam.
To get your admission advice, please login to your My CIMA account. In the 'My Exams' section, on the menu at the bottom of the screen, you will see a link to your admission advice.
The admission advice shows the exam papers for which you are entered, your candidate number for each exam and exact details of your exam centre.
It may contain specific instructions about the exam venue so make sure you know exactly where you are going before the big day.
Keep your admission advice safe
Take the admission advice with you to the exams to confirm your exam entry to the exam supervisor. Keep it safe afterwards.
When you download your admission advice, you must also download the Exam Rules and Regulations. Please read these carefully.
Going to the exam
As well as your admission advice, you need to bring another form of identification with a photograph and your signature to the exam centre ' for example, a passport or driving licence.
Before you start each exam you must complete an attendance slip. The slip has a tear off section that you should keep. This is your confirmation of attendance and is valid for four months from the date of the exam.
Appeals for special consideration
We have a process that allows you to appeal for special consideration if you feel that your performance in your exams was adversely affected by exceptional circumstances - for example, illness or the death of a close relative.
Full terms and conditions for appeals for special consideration are available to download (PDF 20KB).
Sri Lanka students: attestation forms
If you are sitting exams in Sri Lanka, you must also download an attestation form for each exam you are sitting.
Complete your attestation form and take it with your admission advice to the exams.
