Russia regional Global Business Challenge finalists announced

Congratulations to the six teams who have reached the Russia regional final for the CIMA Global Business Challenge 2012, to be held on Friday 8 June 2012.

The following teams will compete for a chance to represent Russia at the global final. They will also have the chance to win fantastic prizes, including internships, iPads, netbooks, digital cameras, and iPods:

  • A Priori, Kaliningrad State Technical University
  • Adam Smith's Children, Saint Petersburg State University
  • Blue Ocean, St Petersburg State University
  • Fantastic Four, Moscow State Institute Of International Relations

November 2011 exam pass rates

The pass rate for P1 in Russian (as part of the CIMA diploma in performance management in Russian) for the November 2011 exams was 64.8%. For P2 in Russian the pass rate was 71.5%. These are higher than the global pass rates for P1 and P2 in English, which were 53% and 49% respectively.

First students graduate from the CIMA diploma in performance management in Russian

Following the May 2011 exams, 33 students have now successfully completed the diploma. They will be presented with certificates at an awards ceremony on 6 September 2011.

May 2011 exam pass rates

The pass rate for P1 in Russian (as part of the CIMA diploma in performance management in Russian) for the May 2011 exams was 56%. For P2 in Russian the pass rate was 70%. These are higher than the global pass rates for P1 and P2 in English, which were 47% and 46% respectively.

Russian GBC final results

L’hirondelle from the Academy of National Economy won the 2011 Global Business Challenge Russia final. The team will now compete for the title of GBC 2011 champion at the global final in China.

Pass rates for November 2010 exams

The overall pass rate for P1 in Russian (in the CIMA diploma in performance management in Russian) for the November 2010 exams was 56%. This is higher than the UK pass rate for P1 in English, which was 54%. The average pass rate for P1 in English in countries outside of the UK is only 38%.
