Poland regional Global Business Challenge finalists announced

Congratulations to the four teams who have made it into the Poland regional final for the CIMA Global Business Challenge 2012.

The following teams will compete for a chance to represent Poland at the global final. They also have a chance to win fantastic prizes, including internships, iPads, digital cameras, and iPods:

Video of Warsaw roundtable discussion on business partnering

The aim of this roundtable event was to identify organisational best practice in order to ensure independence and integrity is maintained and safeguarded in areas such as recruitment, reporting lines, development, and support structures.

The discussion focused on sharing experiences and exchanging views on the role of business partners in the business world, as well as the independence and objectivity of the finance function and its professionals. It was attended by senior representatives from Unilever, Shell, BAT, Prologis and Accenture.

CIMA supplement in national Polish newspaper

CIMA launches Global Business Challenge in Poland for the first time this year - registration is now open

If you are a full time undergraduate doing your first degree, this is your chance to test your business skills and showcase your talent (see eligibility rules).

By taking part in the CIMA Global Business Challenge, you will:

  • work on a case study adapted from the CIMA test of professional competence in management accounting, which will give you first hand experience of the skills required to be a business leader

CIMA opens first office in Poland

Current and future CIMA students and members can now benefit from a new CIMA office in Warsaw, Poland. The CIMA office is located at Emilii Plater 53 in the Warsaw Financial Centre, and will be open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.
