Middle East regional Global Business Challenge finalists announced

Congratulations to the six teams who have made it into the Middle East regional final for the CIMA Global Business Challenge 2012.

The following teams will compete for a chance to represent the Middle East at the global final. They also have a chance to win fantastic cash prizes.

CIMA Global Business Challenge 2012 registration is now open

If you are a full time undergraduate doing your first degree, this is your chance to test your business skills and showcase your talent (see eligibility rules).

By taking part in the CIMA Global Business Challenge, you will:

  • work on a case study adapted from the CIMA test of professional competence in management accounting, which will give you first hand experience of the skills required to be a business leader

2011 Middle East GBC final result

The Quad Core team from the University of Wollongong in Dubai won the 2011 Global Business Challenge's Middle East final. They will now represent the Middle East in the global final in China and compete for the title of GBC 2011 global champion.

CIMA Global Business Challenge 2011

The CIMA Global Business Challenge will return to the Middle East in 2011.

In 2010, Bizz Wizards, the team from the University of Wollongong, reached the global final in Malaysia after winning the 2010 UAE competition.

In 2011 the GBC is open to teams from any of the GCC countries (Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE). 

The CIMA Global Business Challenge is an international competition designed to bring out the best in the young business leaders of tomorrow, and all participants will receive prizes. It is the ideal opportunity to:

  • gain a taste of what it is like to be a financially qualified business leader
  • meet some of the world's top employers
  • socialise with peers from around the world
  • have the chance to win a free, all expenses paid trip to China, the host country of the 2011 global final.
