CIMA Canada holds regular events for members and students.
2012 AGM
The 2012 annual general meeting of the CIMA Canada branch will be held on Thursday 31 May 2012 at 5.30pm. The venue is the Toronto Marriott Bloor Yorkville Hotel, located at 90 Bloor Street East, Toronto, Ontario, M4W 1A7.
The AGM will commence at 6.30pm and the agenda will be as follows:
- Presentation of the annual report of the branch by the chair of the board
- Recognition of passed finalists and new CIMA members
- Approval of the minutes of the CIMA Canada AGM held on 26 May 2011
- Appointment of members to the board of CIMA Canada. As per the CIMA Canada constitution, nominations were requested of members volunteering in CIMA Canada committees to fill six vacancies on the board
- Presentation of the financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2011 by the chair of the finance committee
- Appointment of the auditor
- Any other business
The AGM will be followed by dinner.
