This practical course will provide you with the skills to build your confidence and enable you to network effectively.

Qualifications and intelligence are not enough to develop your career. Building a reputation via networking, from the earliest stages in your career, provides you with a profile and resources for future use. You can never know too many people: every time you meet someone new, the number of people they know multiplies your access to potentially valuable new people. Increased contacts give you access to new opportunities and clients.

This course will take you through some of the steps and activities to enable you to become a consummate networker, and make a real difference to your personal reputation and your business.

The speaker will be drawn from a pool of qualified professionals who specialise in this subject. Having worked for leading organisations they will relate the course content to real life case studies.

The course covers techniques to:

• develop a networking style
• enter a room full of strangers
• create that powerful first impression
• learn to remember people's names
• master the art of conversation when it comes to a natural end
• know how to work a room
• appear really interested in others
• be cross-culturally aware.

The course starts at 9.30am and ends at 5.00pm. Lunch and refreshments are included.
