2010 awards
The CIMA 2010 annual awards recognised people, teams and organisations who lead the way within our profession. The ceremony honoured members, students and suppliers who achieved outstanding global success.
The 2010 awards were presented on 22 November at The Royal Lancaster Hotel in London. Actor and comedian Hugh Dennis provided the after dinner entertainment and presented the awards.
Over 450 guests celebrated outstanding achievements by members, students and suppliers who have demonstrated excellence in management accounting at the ceremony, held at the Royal Lancaster Hotel, London. The night began with a champagne reception followed by dinner and was hosted by Hugh Dennis, actor, comedian and impressionist.
Speaking at the event, George Glass, CIMA president, said: ‘This year, we were extremely impressed by the quantity and quality of the entries. We received a higher number of nominations this year than at any other CIMA awards to date.
‘The awards acknowledge the attributes of first class chartered management accountants and those who support them through their careers. It is enormously rewarding to see how the CIMA qualification has been used to produce such a high degree of excellence.’
