How the scheme works
Our professional development quality standards for our CPD employer accreditation scheme mirror our professional development cycle stages.
Employers that meet the standards and have supporting evidence will be accredited as CIMA development partners and may use the CIMA development partner logo.
Assessment
Applications are assessed by the CIMA professional development manager.
Additional information, clarification or supporting evidence may be required.
Monitoring
Random checks of accredited employers are undertaken.
Accreditation is reviewed after three years. The review updates the original application and assesses progress in meeting CIMA's quality standards for professional development.
We also interview the organisation's professional development champion and at least one CIMA member in the organisation, and review their personal development plan.
Evaluation
The scheme is reviewed regularly. Feedback on the scheme and guidelines from employers, managers and CIMA members are assessed to ensure it remains relevant and customer focused.
