Unleash your potential at the Sri Lanka Leaders’ Summit

The CIMA Business Leaders’ Summit, our flagship conference in Sri Lanka, will take place on 1-3 June 2006 at the Bandaranaike International Memorial Conference Hall (BMICH), Colombo.

With the theme ‘Unleash your potential’, this premier event will help business leaders to continue their professional development and challenge them to explore how they can improve both individual and overall business performance.

Over the past 29 years CIMA has made a significant contribution to Sri Lanka’s economic environment through its annual Business Leaders’ Summit.

This year’s summit seeks to explore the theory and practicalities of how countries and organisations can perform at the highest levels by unleashing the potential of people. It will attract some of Sri Lanka’s key business influencers as well as high profile speakers from overseas. Each year, the summit generates great interest and offers top quality professional content that has a major impact on the way businesses and professionals conduct their affairs.

Our speakers will provide up-to-date and relevant insights. They will challenge delegates to think laterally about how they can unleash their own potential as well as that of their people and organisations.

• Our keynote speaker for technical sessions, Shiv Khera, business consultant and founder of Qualified Learning Systems, Singapore will speak on ‘Winners don’t do different things, they do things differently’
• Dr Chintha Dissanayake, industrial/occupational psychology consultant of Oxford Psychometrics in Belgium. She will present her paper on ‘Success – hard work or just luck?’
• Elmo de Alwis, CEO and managing director of SIGMA Pharmaceuticals, Australia will discuss the theme ‘Unleash corporate potential – the role of the business leader’
• Dr Rob Yeung will talk about ‘Creating your personal vision’. He is director of Business Psychology Consultancy, Talent Space, UK
• David White, consultant, Whitehorn Consulting, UK, will present on ‘Creating your future’
• Simon Murray, chairman, Macquarie Group of Companies, Hong Kong will give a presentation on ‘Creating a galaxy’.

Around 600 CIMA members, students and professionals from a broad spectrum of business and academic backgrounds are expected to attend the conference.
